Pickin' Pumpkins at the Pumpkin Patch

Mommy, Daddy and I went to Varner's Farm today to pick pumpkins. At first, we thought we'd all go on a hayride together out to the pumpkin patch and "pick" our pumpkin. But, after Mommy and Daddy talked about it we ended up just buying one that had already been brought in from the field. See, Mommy was on this quest to find a unique pumpkin!

We got three chances to "guess the weight" of the pumpkin - one for each of us. If we guess the correct weight, we'll win a free Christmas tree!

Well, here we are - which one do we want?

Here's the one Mommy wanted. The one closest to my stroller. Daddy said it wasn't his favorite and they should keep looking. (Apparently this happens every year), but this is the first time for me. Mommy suggested that we each get our own pumpkin this year! A Daddy pumpkin, a Mommy pumpkin and a baby pumpkin - for ME! Daddy seemed to like that idea, although currently he's still looking...

Hey! What about this one for me?

Upon closer inspection, it looks like a good one.

But how does it taste?

Maybe I want a tiny pumpkin? This tastes the same!

Daddy loves "farm country"!

10 months old today

Mommy can't believe it! I'm 10 months old today!
I surprised her and Daddy on Sunday when I took my first few steps!
She was clapping and really making such a fuss about the whole thing!
She's so proud of me! She says I'm amazing!

I had fun with Nana today.
She took me to the Elmwood Park Zoo.
It was such a nice day walking around the park and watching all the animals.
I saw an eagle, a peacock, some turtles, prairie dogs
and even otters playing with a ball in the water!
Nana even took me to the gift shop and bought me a
teddy bear that I some how got my hands on???

She's so good to me!

Hancock Night at Chuck E. Cheese

Mommy and Daddy took me to Chuck E. Cheese last night. Mommy's school had a fundraiser and lots of the Hancock kids were there! Everybody had so much fun playing the games, riding on the rides and eating lots of fun food! There were so many bright lights and fun noises! I had a great time watching all the kids!
My friends Ashton, Avery, Emily and Julia were there having a GREAT time! I can't wait till I can join them!

Julia and Emily have fun on the roller coaster ride!

Daddy enjoyed the salad bar, pizza and cotton candy!
Mommy said he was like the "bottomless pit!"

Eagles Sunday

Well, at least we had fun watching the game together!

Nana's Surprise Party!

We really surprised Nana this weekend with a SURPRISE party for her 70th birthday!
All of her close friends were there and boy was she surprised!
It was so much fun!
Mommy and Aunt Colleen told Nana that we would take her to the Coventry Tea Room for a birthday lunch (her favorite place).
She had no idea what (who) was waiting there for her!

Nana had lots of presents to open! The best one was from me - a pass to the Elmwood Park Zoo, and we can go whenever we want too! Nana thought that was fun! Her friends all had a great time laughing and enjoying the great food. Everybody even got a big creampuff for dessert (a Coventry Tea Room favorite) except for me - all I got was my lousy bottle!
